Lavine

President + CEO

Jerry Lavine is the President and CEO of Senvias Inc, bringing over three decades of automotive industry experience to lead the fully integrated composite solutions provider. His background includes technical, operational, and commercial leadership roles across the mobility sector.  

Before transitioning to Senvias, Jerry was president of the Automotive business of TPI Composites Inc. from June 2021 to June 2024.  His extensive leadership experience includes serving as the Chief Technology Officer and President of North America for Bordrin New Energy Vehicle Corporation from November 2017 to January 2021. Prior to this, he held the position of Vice President of Product Development at Magna International Inc. and was the Executive Vice President and Chief Program Officer at Dura Automotive Systems. Prior to his role at Magna, Jerry served as Vice President Engineering for automotive startup Next Autoworks. Jerry’s diverse expertise is rooted in over 15 years at Ford Motor Company, where he held various senior engineering and technical roles, including positions as Chief Engineer for North American Full-Size Car and CUV Programs and Chief Engineer, Design Engineering for North American Car and Truck Platforms.  

Jerry holds a Master of Science in Management and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focusing on System Design and Management, and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, specializing in Mechanical Analysis and Design. He completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Binghamton University.

Haruben

Plant Manager

Laurie Haruben is the Plant Manager at Senvias Inc, bringing over three decades of experience in manufacturing and operations management. She plays a crucial role in overseeing the plant’s day-to-day operations while driving continuous improvements that align with the company’s strategic objectives.

Before joining Senvias, Laurie served as Plant Manager at TPI Composites, Inc., from 2021 to 2024, where she led the transformation of the Warren, Rhode Island plant, significantly enhancing production efficiency and customer satisfaction. Prior to that, she held various leadership positions at Sensata Technologies for nearly 15 years, including Director, where she managed large-scale operations and global supply chains.

Laurie’s career began at Texas Instruments, where she spent 18 years as a Manufacturing Supervisor, gaining hands-on experience in enhanced efficiency and team leadership. Her commitment to operational excellence and team building has made her a respected leader in the industry.

Laurie earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Union College.

Brian
Lucchesi

Senior Director Technical Strategy & Innovation

Brian Lucchesi is Senior Director of Technical Strategy & Innovation at Senvias Inc, where he wields over two decades of experience in composite innovation. His role is pivotal in developing advanced process technologies and spearheading groundbreaking products that shape the company’s future technical direction.

Before assuming his current position, Brian served as Senior Director of Engineering for TPI Composites Inc., the predecessor to Senvias, from 2021 to 2024. During this tenure, he led the launch of significant innovations such as electric vehicle battery enclosures and pioneered the first high-volume autonomous carbon/epoxy molding cell for automotive OEMs in the United States.

Brian’s extensive career also includes a 19-year period at TPI, where he managed engineering and operations initiatives. From 2018 to 2021, as General Manager for Strategic Market Operations, he transformed the Warren, Rhode Island-based site into a world-class Center of Technology Excellence. His impactful work facilitated successful launches across multiple industries, including Marine, Automotive, Mass Transit, Wind Power, Defense, and Theme Parks.

Brian earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and has been honored with the prestigious JEC Product Innovation Award for his role as the chief architect behind the monocoque composite body of the Proterra 40ft plug-in Electric Bus.

Carl
Ellis

Director of Supply Chain Operations

Carl Ellis serves as the Director of Supply Chain Operations at Senvias Inc., bringing over 30 years of expertise in the automotive industry to the integrated composite solutions provider. In his role, Carl oversees the sourcing of prototype and production materials, capital equipment, raw material negotiations, and the management of supply agreements for new and existing projects.

Throughout his career, Carl has held leadership positions at notable automotive brands, including Group Lotus and McLaren Cars in the UK. He also spent more than eight years as a Purchasing Manager at Tesla Motors, launching the Tesla Roadster and Model S vehicles, initially in the UK before relocating to the US with his family. Following his time at Tesla, Carl has held Purchasing Director positions at Faraday Future Inc., Mahindra North America, Bollinger Motors, and Our Next Energy Inc., overseeing the procurement of a wide range of EV components and systems, including Li-ion and LFP Cells.

Carl received his education at City College Norwich, specializing in studies from the Institute of Purchasing and Supplies.

Todd
Altman

Senior Director of New Business Development

Todd Altman is Senior Director of New Business Development at Senvias Inc, where he brings over three decades of diverse industry experience to spearhead growth initiatives for the innovative composite solutions startup. His expertise spans international business development, sales, and marketing within the technology and mobility sectors.

Prior to his tenure at Senvias, Todd served as Senior Director of Automotive Business Development at TPI Composites Inc., from May 2014 to July 2024. There, he successfully negotiated the company’s inaugural contracts in the transportation industry, establishing more than tenfold revenue growth for the business. Prior to that, Todd held the role of Regional Sales Manager at Eurotech from April 2009 to May 2014, where he drove sales of embedded computers across industrial, medical, defense, and transportation markets. Earlier, as GPS Market Development Manager at Marvell Semiconductor, Todd expanded the business by 300%, collaborating with major clients such as Garmin, Magellan, TomTom, and Sony.

Todd began his career at Intel Corporation, where, from January 1996 to November 2006, he progressively ascended through roles in marketing development and strategic planning within the Telematics and Consumer Handheld Groups. Key highlights of Todd’s tenure at Intel included launching the world’s first Bluetooth™ cellular hands-free kits utilizing Intel Mobile Media technology on Acura and Chrysler platforms and optical lane departure warning systems with Infiniti. 

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arizona. Beyond his professional endeavors, Todd is a co-founder of Royal JBS, a non-profit that coordinates innovation events to support Make-A-Wish Arizona, blending his passion for technology with community service.

Mike
Traetow

Senior Director of Program Management

Mike Traetow is the Senior Director of Program Management at Senvias Inc, with over two decades of experience in engineering management and cross-functional team leadership. In his role, Mike oversees the development and launch of key programs, ensuring they meet strategic goals and deliver cutting-edge results.

Before his current role, Mike served as Technical Program Director for the Automotive Division at TPI Composites, Inc., where he played a pivotal role in advancing the company’s technical services and quality initiatives from 2019 to 2022. His leadership also extends to his previous positions at TPI as Director of Technical Services, where he led engineering, quality, and continuous improvement teams.

Mike’s career also includes leadership roles at Vermeer Corporation and Kinze Manufacturing, Inc., where he honed his expertise in operations and project management. He began his career at Pella Corporation, holding multiple engineering and management positions spanning over 12 years.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa.

Francis

Director of Human Resources

Krista Francis is the Director of Human Resources at Senvias Inc., bringing over three decades of experience in HR leadership. As part of the executive leadership team, Krista is responsible for driving a culture of engagement, inclusion, and safety across the organization. She oversees key HR functions including talent acquisition, development, retention, compensation, employee relations, payroll, and benefits.

Before joining Senvias in 2023, Krista served as Senior Human Resources Director at Claris Vision, where she led HR operations for multiple locations, including compliance, recruitment, employee engagement, diversity initiatives, and benefit plans. Prior to that, she held leadership roles at Care New England and Women & Infants Hospital a Senior HR Business Partner and Director of Employment Services, focusing on employee and labor relations, recruitment and retention, DE&I initiatives, and strategic HR goals 

Krista holds a bachelor’s degree in general studies from Rhode Island College.

Derek
Bujak

Director of Finance

Derek Bujak is the Director of Finance at Senvias Inc., where he brings over 17 years of experience in financial operations and management in automotive and transportation industries. In his role, Derek oversees financial strategies, budgeting, and reporting to ensure optimal financial performance for the company.

Prior to joining Senvias in 2024, Derek served as Global Controller for the Automotive Division at TPI Composites Inc. from 2022 to 2024, where he managed global financial operations for the group. Earlier in his career, Derek spent over 15 years at Lear Corporation, where he held several roles including Plant Controller, Division Materials Manager, and Operations Manager, demonstrating his expertise in plant operations and financial control.

Derek earned both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Ohio Christian University.

Christina
Byron

Director of Quality & Design Engineering

Christina Byron is the Director of Quality and Design Engineering at Senvias Inc, where she brings over three decades of experience in manufacturing and Quality Engineering Management for the automotive manufacturing industry. She is responsible for establishing and overseeing quality and design strategies to ensure the highest standards are met across the enterprise.

Before joining Senvias, Christina was Director of Quality for the automotive division of TPI Composites, Inc. Prior to that, Christina served in quality leadership role at Mersen, EV Electrical Component Manufacturing as their Global Quality Manager from 2018-2023. As EV Global Quality Manager with Mersen she developed and implemented a Global Quality roadmap for electric vehicle manufacturing sites in Mexico, the United States, France, Germany, and China. She also led the advancement of the Quality Management System (QMS) at these locations to align with the IATF 16949 standards. Her earlier career includes over 14 years in Quality Management roles at OSRAM SYLVANIA (Automotive Lighting) and 6 years in Supplier Quality Engineering at Freudenberg-NOK (Automotive Sealing).

Christina holds a Bachelor of Science in Business & Mathematics from Plymouth State University and an Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from NHTI, Concord’s Community College.
